Ezra Collective Sets Sights on a Monumental 2027 Tour
As the band strides through a jam-packed festival season, Ezra Collective is amplifying their visibility with plans for their largest headline tour to date. Set to kick off in late 2026 and run well into early 2027, this tour coincides with the release of their fourth studio album, *Here Because Of Hope*, which drops on September 18, 2026. This Mercury Prize-winning group isn’t just treading water; they’ve turned their excitement into action. Initially, they had scheduled ten shows across the UK and Ireland, starting with two nights at Bristol's Prospect Building on February 26 and 27. They've since added a third night, extending their Bristol run to February 28. From there, they'll traverse the UK, making appearances in cities like Nottingham, Dublin, and Glasgow before capping off their adventure with four consecutive nights at London’s O2 Academy Brixton on March 18 through 21. Notably, they’ll be joined on tour by Pa Salieu, a frequent collaborator whose contribution adds to the allure of the shows. What's particularly telling is the band's approach to their upcoming album. They’ve shared insights into their creative process, describing the new music as a narrative threaded with themes of pain, joy, and importantly, hope. Bandleader Femi Koleoso reflects on the album's essence: “This album is the journey from that pain to joy, and the connective word in the middle is hope. We hope that this album makes people dance, we hope it makes people cry.” In conjunction with the tour announcement, they've also unveiled a new track titled “Well Organised.” The creative spark for this song arose during a session at the Kinetika Bloco Youth Club, where the sounds of steel pans resonated with Koleoso. He recalls the moment vividly, stating, “I recorded it on my phone and lived with it.
