Medical Disclaimer
Jeo is general health education and a set of blank templates. It is not medical care, and using it does not create any clinician–patient relationship. Read this page before you rely on anything here.
Not medical advice
Nothing on this site is advice about your own illness. We do not diagnose, we do not treat, and we do not tell you what to do. Specifically, no page on this site will:
- interpret a blood glucose reading, a ketone reading, a symptom, or any combination of them;
- state a threshold, a target, a dose, or a temperature for you to act on;
- tell you how often to test, check, measure, eat, drink, or call anyone;
- tell you to start, stop, hold, skip, double, or adjust any medicine, prescription or over the counter;
- tell you what to eat or drink while you are ill;
- recommend a product, a brand, a supplement, or a device;
- perform symptom checking, triage, or risk scoring of any kind.
Those decisions depend on your prescriptions, your other conditions, and your history. A website cannot know any of that. They belong to your own care team.
No clinical review
Pages here are not reviewed by a licensed clinician. See Medical Review for exactly what that means and what we do instead, and Editorial Policy for how pages are written and checked.
Your own sick-day plan comes first
Where this site and your own written sick-day instructions disagree, follow your own instructions. The same is true for the manufacturer's instructions for any meter, monitor, pump, or pen you use, and for the label on anything you take. General information never overrides instructions written for you specifically.
In an emergency
If your symptoms are severe, if you cannot safely look after yourself, or if you are not sure whether this is an emergency, stop reading and call 911 or your local emergency number, or go to the nearest emergency department. Do not stop to fill in a template first.
Where this applies
This site is written for adults in the United States. The way care is organised — nurse lines, urgent care, pharmacy services, emergency numbers — differs elsewhere, and the descriptions here may not match your country's system.
Templates and what you type
The sick-day plan and sick-day log on this site are blank forms. Every medical field in them is left empty on purpose, for you to fill in with your own care team. What you type stays in your own browser on your own device: it is not sent to us, not stored by us, and not visible to us. See our Privacy Policy.
Accuracy and links
We work from public pages published by the CDC, the American Diabetes Association, NIDDK, and MedlinePlus, and we show the date we last opened them. Public health material changes, and pages here may fall behind it. We link to the originals so you can read the current wording yourself; see Sources. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any organisation named on this site, and we are not responsible for the content of any site we link to.
If something here is wrong or out of date, tell us — see Corrections or write to .
